In 2020 Jen Persson, founder of Defend Digital me contacted me looking for illustrated headshots or herself and the speakers to their State of Data 2020 conference.

 

Defend Digital Me works to protect the digital rights and privacy of children. To reflect this, Jen was looking for kidlit style headshots of the speakers, rather than using photos.Jen provided me with photographs of each of the speakers, and from there I created the illustrations below.
